I am a professional artist and instructor specializing in all areas of drawing.  
Currently I teach a variety of classes and workshops in the Tampa Bay area at a
number of locations.  These currently include Suntan Art Center, Beach Art
Center, Dazzio Art Experience School of Art and several City of St. Petersburg
locations.  In addition, I have taught at local museums such as the Tampa Museum
of Art and The Salvador Dali and the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg.  I
have also presented classes, workshops, talks and demonstrations at SPC, USF
St. Petersburg and University of Tampa.  Classes and workshops have also been
presented at locations in Houston, Texas and Ocean City, New Jersey.  I have a
Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Indianapolis in Indiana, and have
taken courses locally at USF, Tampa, and SPC in St. Petersburg.  I also have
certificates from the Fundamentals of Fine Arts Program of the North Light
School in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Master Art program from the Penn Foster
Career School located in Scranton, Pennsylvania.  Artists that I have studied with
include Nelson Shanks at Studio Incamminati, Glenn Vilppu, Philip Pearlstein and
Loreen Leedy.  Local Artists I have studied with include Jack Barrett, Jim
Scalese, Janet Echelman and Barbara Lewis.

I have been a Courtroom Sketch Artist for Federal Court the past 5 years for
national and local television and print networks.  Original court sketches are in
numerous collections throughout the United States.  I also create commission
artwork for individuals, professional and organizations in the Tamp Bay area.  I
am a member of a number of local art centers, and have been a show judge and
curator a number of times.  Currently I am a member of the Exhibition
Committee, Judges Selection, at the Treasure Island Art Guild.  Past activities
of note include mural projects in Florida and North Carolina, figure drawing book
and art exchanges as well as open drawing monitor, landscape and rock waterfall
design and illustrations.

My work is currently on display at the Dazzio Art Gallery in St. Petersburg,
Florida.  I frequently participate in local group shows, and have received a number
of awards.  In the past few years, I have had solo shows at Pinellas Park Library,
Kotler Art Gallery at Tampa Public Library, Pinellas Park Art Soviety and the
Clearwater Main Library.  Recent invitational shows include faculty shows at
teaching locations as well as the Rhino Invitational Show in St. Petersburg,
